We're still happily married and enjoying the life we are building together :)

A New Family
One of the things about getting married that is perhaps the most difficult is finding myself with a new family.
I had jury duty all week and one day for lunch we went to Chinatown for dim sum. As we were walking back, who did I see but D's grandma! It was so nice to her but I couldn't say a word to her. And I had no clue what she was saying to me. It's so sad to me that I can't communicate with her.
On the other hand, sometimes it's awesome having a whole new family. Just like every year, hubby came with me to our annual Christmas gathering and he had such a great time -- I love that he's accepted my family as his own. And that my family has accepted him as well.

Married
I still can't believe we're finally married. Somehow it hasn't really sunk in yet. But i do think that it has to do with how our relationship has been. Almost 5 years together and i still feel like we just started dating. We still share the same passion and desire for each others company today as we did when we first became "official". So now that we're "officially married", i don't feel like much has changed and that's a good thing. She's still my best friend and my one true love.
I've never been happier.

Welcome to Our Home
I <3 Christmas time. And what better way to start the beginning of married life than during the season? It took a long time, but hubby and I have finally gotten a chance to bring the Christmas spirit into our home (even though we haven't completely unpacked or set up the house.) The Christmas tree is my favorite. It gave me the warm fuzzies to decorate the tree together. We found a cheapie tree topper at Target (we've made so many stops to this store in the last month it's ridiculous). The tree topper was cookie-like, so we kept up with the theme and made our ornaments out of dough. Add some candy canes and you've got a seriously budget friendly tree! =D
Merry Christmas! :)
